Sun, 29 Dec 2024 01:33:36 -0500WeeblyThu, 16 May 2024 02:32:38 GMThttp://bucksharp.com/updates/may-15th-2024Wow!  I can't believe that Buckeye Sharpening has been in business for five years.  In the early spring of 2019, I decided to bring a service to northeast Ohio and beyond that would keep me semi-busy in my retirement from teaching AND provide a service to the area for making dull edges sharp.  And, that time has come as well!  At the end of May, I'll be in the sharpening business full time and looking forward to expansion.  I have a lot of work to do in the shop and some new equipment to set up to expand my offerings.  I'll be adding chain saw sharpening this summer and I'll be working at getting the clipper blade equipment set up to do blades for groomers.  I'm looking forward to devoting more time to the business and building my customer base.  I'll have more updates in the near future as I get into full swing with Buckeye Sharpening....Stay tuned!  ]]>Fri, 21 Jun 2019 04:00:00 GMThttp://bucksharp.com/updates/welcomeWelcome to my new venture!  I'm providing a service that I feel is needed in our area.  As a knife collector, I've always had a passion for quality sharp, pointy objects.  I've been sharpening my own knives and those of family and friends for many years.  Now, I'm offering my services to the general public and companies alike. This site is a work in progress and will be updated periodically as time allows.  Please contact me with any questions!  I am still in the process of getting my shop set up to handle all my customers needs.  Starting on July 1, 2019, I'll be taking items for sharpening.  If you have an item that needs sharpened and it is not listed on the services page, contact me to see if it can be sharpened.  I am not sharpening chain saw chains, salon scissors, hair clipper blades or circular saw blades at this time.  These items may be added in the future.
